HOW TO ROOT YOUR SAMSUNG GALAXY S1(i9000)[TRALLIS GUIDE]

Before we begin the Process has been tested on the i9000 version only

Requirements

• Back up your device
• Fully charged battery or at least over 60 %
• Odin for windows
• USB drivers for your device
• Download CF-root Kernel for your device(Choose the correct CF-Root file carefully depending upon your device’s ROM or Android Verion.)By:Chainfire Of Xda-Developers
• A USB JIG if need be(If you cant boot directly to Download mode)

Note: Before you continue rooting your phone, It will void your warranty.

Rooting Your Samsung Galaxy S1(i900)

Step 1: Extract the downloaded  CF-root Kernel file and place it on your desktop or any where of  cconvince for you

Step 2: Install and open  Odin

Step 3: Turn off your phone,boot into download mode by holding Volume Down + Home Button + Power Key simultaneously you will be prompted with a yellow screen. Press Volume Up to continue.

Step 4: Connect your phone to your computer as soon as it is detected the ID:COM box should turn blue or yellow

Step 5: Click on the PDA tab and browse to the extracted CF-root Kernel file

Step 6: Make sure Only Auto Reboot and Reset Time are checked 

Step 7 : Hit start,It should take a few second to complete the process

Step 8: After completing the process,the phone will automatically reboot and you will see super user in your app drawer

• Don\’t use this process on other variants
• Don\’t remove phone while in the process(After you press start)
