WhatsApp Android Beta users received an error message stating that the most recent update has expired, but there was no update on the Google Play store.
If you see a ‘out of date’ error message on WhatsApp, make sure to update to the current version as this will resolve the issue. Users can also opt out of the beta and return to the original version of the app if the new version does not function for them. Nevertheless, you may lose access to some new features that are only available to people using the app’s beta version.
